UPE School Sending Children Away Over School Fees

Today, following a SACCO meeting between 50 residents of Purongo sub-county in Nwoya districts, members raised the concern that their children were being sent away from school over PTA funds. This has reportedly affected pupils of Purongo Hills Primary School, a UPE institution. PTA stands for Parents and Teachers Association.

In Purongo hills primary school, PTA is reportedly sh10,500 per child per term.
